01. MASTER of MINISTRY PROGRAM

The Master of Ministry Program is designed for those who desire advanced training on a graduate level in order to enhance their Bible knowledge and ministry skills. To meet the time and travel constraints placed upon many in full-time Christian service, classes are conveniently scheduled in modules meeting one day each week for five weeks or five days straight for one week.

    a. Purpose

    The Master of Ministry (M.Min.) is a 32 credit-hour module program designed for those who desire advanced training on a graduate level in order to enhance their Bible knowledge and ministry skills.

    b. Objectives

    To enable the student to:

  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Bible as the verbally inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith.
  • Demonstrate competence to do Biblical research.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of conservative Christian theology and skill in applying its tenets in ministry.
  • Demonstrate a competence in preaching and teaching the Bible effectively.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of the Biblical foundations for the local church, an ability to lead the various ministries of the local church, and a burden for evangelism and missions.
  • Advance his/her level of competency and scholarship especially in reading, writing, interaction, and communication skills.
  • c. Admission

    The student must have obtained a Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from a recognized institution. Any student with a bachelor’s degree in a discipline other than Bible/Theology may be required to complete additional course work before graduation.

    d. Video Conferencing Centers

    All M.Min. courses are transmitted to the Video Conferencing Centers (VCC) located at Loudoun Bible Temple in Leesburg, Virginia, and Cross County Bible Church in Waldorf, Maryland.
